COVID-19: HEALTH & SAFETY

first class back after lockdown was friday 7th August and I have received some lovely emails which I would like to share with you...
'...well done for managing your classes so well, it was lovely to hear your music again' the hall manager
'...loved the early class today. So well organised for keeping us all safe. Thank you'
'Thank you ladies it was great to be back, even if I don't know my left from my right.  Seriously, you have obviously put in a great deal of work in order for us to return to dancing...'

BOTH PAT AND MYSELF HAVE COMPLETED TWO ON LINE TRAINING COURSES ON PREVENT COVID 19 AND AN INTRO TO INFECTION PREVENTION AND CONTROL.  SCROLL DOWN TO SEE COPIES OF OUR CERTIFICATES.

WHOOP...WHOOP...THE MAJORITY OF HotShots CLASSES HAVE NOW STARTED AGAIN AFTER LOCKDOWN.  IN ABLE TO RE-START I HAVE TO BE GOVERNMENT COMPLIANT AND HAVE HAD TO COMPLETE A COVID 19 RISK ASSESSMENT FOR EVERY VENUE ON HOW HotShots LDC ARE GOING TO KEEP BOTH YOU, THE DANCERS, AND THE VENUES AS COVID 19 SAFE AS POSSIBLE.  AT EACH VENUE MY COVID 19 RISK ASSESSMENT IS AVAILABLE FOR YOU TO LOOK AT.

EVERY DANCER WILL RECEIVE A COPY OF HotShots H&S GUIDELINES AND DISCLAIMER LEAFLET.  SCROLL DOWN AND YOU WILL BE ABLE TO READ THEM. ALL DANCERS WILL ALSO HAVE TO COMPLETE A PAR-Q READY TO DANCE FORM.

YOU CANNOT JUST TURN UP FOR A CLASS ... ALL SESSIONS ARE PRE-BOOKED AND PRE-PAID IN ADVANCE ... NO WALK INS.

ALL HotShots CLASSES ARE BEING HELD IN COVID SECURE VENUES AND I AM FOLLOWING ALL GOVT PROTOCOL IN ORDER TO KEEP EVERY DANCER SAFE.

COVID GOVT UPDATES CAN BE FOUND BELOW.

17/10/2020: London boroughs are now in the high risk areas, however, we can still continue line dancing classes as long as all venues are covid secure and I follow all govt covid protocols.  ACTIONS: inform all attendees and venues.

22/09/2020: Gatherings of 6 people: line dancing comes under the umberella of fitness/dance/evercise classes as long as we are using covid safe venues, I am following all govt covid protocols we can continue. QR Codes: some venues will need to create and display a QR code poster, however, this is the venues responsibilty.  Class contact records still to be kept by the instuctor for track and trace.   ACTIONS: VERBALLY INFORM ALL ATTENDEES AND VENUES.
